The Schaufler Foundation supports a research training group and an artist residency at the Dresden University of Technology (TU). In the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden scientists and artists will devote themselves to interactions between the fields of technology, art, science, and entrepreneurship. Specifically, the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden incorporates a research training group with ten PhD candidates as well as one artist-in-residence programme for international artists. The Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden brings together junior researchers and artists at the Dresden University of Technology to reflect on future issues and to do research.
The Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden, which is set up for a total of three phases of three years each, will deal with the current developments of “Artificial Intelligence” in the first run. Here, the focus is primarily on the transformation of society and culture.
